Chris Biank

    Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach
Chris Biank is in his first year as an assistant men’s lacrosse coach at Widener University. He will be responsible for assisting head coach Jamie Lockard with all aspects of the program with an emphasis on the training and development of the Pride’s offense and faceoff specialists.
 
Prior to Widener, Biank began his coaching career as an assistant varsity coach at Oratory Prep in New Jersey. He also worked at a local day camp in his home state, which included teaching fundamentals of the game to children between the ages of six and 14.
 
Biank was previously a standout faceoff specialist at perennial powerhouse Salisbury for three seasons between 2012 and 2014. He was most notably named to the All-Capital Athletic Conference Second Team as a senior after winning 172 of his 318 faceoff attempts. Biank, who also spent one year at Robert Morris, helped the Seagulls register a combined 61-8 record while he was on the roster and was most notably a member of the 2012 which won the national championship and went undefeated. He also led the Seagulls to a national semifinal appearance in 2013 and back to the national championship game a year later.
 
A native of Roxbury, New Jersey, Biank earned his bachelor’s degree in business economics at Salisbury in 2014. He is currently pursuing his master’s in education.
