Breann Lewis began working as an assistant athletic trainer at Widener University in April 2017. She is responsible for assisting A.J. Duffy, III with all aspects of the athletic training department.
Lewis started her tenure on the full-time staff member as no stranger to Widener, as she has been assisting on a per diem basis to provide coverage at practices and games for the Pride’s athletic programs since October 2013 when needed. In addition, she has spent the last four years working at a chiropractic office in Pitman, New Jersey with responsibilities which include receptionist duties, patient interaction, personal injury and workman’s compensation cases, and supplies maintenance.
Lewis, who was a three-sport athlete on the scholastic level, received her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Lock Haven in 2013. A member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association, Eastern Athletic Trainer’s Association and Pennsylvania Athletic Trainer’s Society, Lewis enjoys riding horses as well as playing soccer in her free time and currently resides in New Jersey.
