Malcolm Williams enters his 1st season as an assistant coach for the Pride.
Williams, a 2023 graduate from Temple University, joins the Pride coaching staff as an Assistant Men's Basketball Coach for the 2023-24 season. William's most recent time on the court came while attending Arcadia University from 2019 to 2021. On the court, he played in six games for the Knight's where he helped the offense to a 23-15 record over two season. While at Arcadia, Williams was a recipient of two MAC Academic Honor Roll awards, a member of the Hidden Opponent Club and Mental Health Awareness for Athletes, and in 2019 was named First Team All-Central League and First Team All-Delaware County, Pa.
Off the court, Williams currently serves as the Varsity Assistant Basketball Coach at Penncrest High School in Media, Pa. Beginning in 2020, he develops and organizes activities related to skill development of the freshman team and prepares scouting reports. In addition to scouting, Williams develops and successfully executes practice plans.
Heavily involved in the basketball community, Williams also works as a Camp Counselor at the Mike Doyle Basketball Camp beginning in 2017 where he serves as a counselor for students in grades K-12. He instructs the fundamentals or basketball and organizes skills and drills competitions among attendees. From 2021, Williams acts as the Assistant Director for the Delco Shout Out as he oversees the operations of events and coordinates participant activities for high school tournaments taking place in Delaware County.
In 2021, Williams co-founded CW Basketball where he utilizes his knowledge and skills of basketball to operate a training facility for athletes.
Williams graduated in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Temple University. Currently, Williams is staying at Temple where he is receiving his Masters in Sports Business with a Concentration in Athletic Administration. He is expected to graduate in the Spring of 2025.
