Lou Becht is in his third season as an assistant coach with the Pride. Becht arrived after six seasons at Archbishop Carroll High School. As the interim head coach in 2004-05, he led the Patriots to a 12-13 mark in the tough Philadelphia Catholic League Southern Division. He also served five seasons as an assistant women’s volleyball coach at Cabrini College from 2002-07, helping the team to three consecutive conference semifinals appearances. Becht graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2002 with a B.A. in History and minors in Psychology and Music Theory. He played four seasons for the Quakers JV team, helping the squad to a 38-22 record. Becht earned his M.Ed from Cabrini in 2007. He presently teaches at Lansdale Catholic High School.
