Tom Doddy

Tom Doddy enters his first season as the offensive line coach for the Widener football team in 2022-23.

For the last 22 years, Doddy coached at Rowan University, serving in a variety of roles on the Profs’ staff. Most recently, he was Rowan's offensive line coach and run game coordinator from 2017 through the 2021 season.
 
During his time with the Profs, Doddy helped the program earn 149 victories, eight NJAC Championships and eight trips to the NCAA Playoffs, including three appearances in the NCAA semifinals.
 
Prior to his time at Rowan, Doddy was the assistant football coach at his alma mater Muhlenberg College from 1983-96. He then came to New Jersey and Highland Regional High School in 1996 and was an assistant football coach and social studies teacher for four years there.
 
He came to Rowan in 2000 to work with K.C. Keeler's staff as offensive coordinator and remained in that role under head coach Jay Accorsi through 2014. Doddy then spent the next two seasons as the defensive coordinator before becoming the offensive line coach and run game coordinator. Doddy also coached quarterbacks, running backs, tight ends, safeties and defensive lineman for the Profs.

Doddy graduated from Muhlenberg in 1983 with a bachelor's in history and earned his secondary education certification in social studies in 1984.
