Steve Marrero is in his second season as an assistant coach for the Pride. He came off a solid four-year run for the Pride in which he had 39 receptions for 524 yards and six touchdowns to go with 543 all-purpose yards. Marrero in 2012 amassed 25 catches for 385 yards and three touchdowns to help the Pride reach the NCAA quarterfinals. He began his coaching immediately after the season ended, guiding the squad in its strength and conditioning. Marrero in the summer of 2013 did a strength and conditioning internship with Villanova’s football program. Marrero graduated Widener in 2013 with a degree in International Business.
