Frank Lazar is in his first season as running backs coach for the Pride. Prior to joining the staff at Widener, Lazar served as an undergraduate assistant for Penn State football from April 2013 - May 2015 as an assistant to Coach Charles Huff, the special teams coordinator and runnings back coach. Additionally, since May 2015, he has worked with the Philadelphia Soul as an intern assisting with operations, equipment, and scouting of possible two-day/open tryout candidates. Since May 2012, Lazar has worked freelance with NFL Films as a production assistant, including assisting the production teams at Super Bowl XLVIII in New York City in 2014. Lazar graduated from Penn State in 2015 with a B.A. in media studies: society and culture with a minor in sociology.
