Widener University Athletics

Colin Hitschler is in his second season as the Pride’s safeties coach and co-special teams coordinator. He arrived after serving as the defensive line coach at Salve Regina. Hitschler was responsible for recruiting Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey during his time. He also worked with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2010 as a player personnel assistant and with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2009 as a training camp assistant.  With the Chiefs, he assisted the coaching staff with weekly playbooks and evaluated top college and free agent prospects.  Hitschler graduated the University of Pennsylvania in 2009 with a B.A. in Communications and Commerce.
