Competed in 11 meets as a freshman … Made the All-Middle Atlantic Conference First Team in the 400-yard freestyle relay and 800 free relay and was an All-Middle Atlantic Conference Honorable Mention selection in the 100 free and 200 free … Also earned a place on the Middle Atlantic Conference Academic Honor Roll ... Swam in three individual and two relay events at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships (2/12-14) … Finished seventh in the 200 free in 1:58.85, eighth in the 100 free in 54.75 seconds and ninth in the 500 free in 5:23.67 … Was also a member of the 400 free relay which finished second in 3:37.09 as well as the 800 free relay which touched the wall third in 7:55.89.
High School:
Four-year letterwinner in the freestyle and butterfly at Dallas … Team captain and Academic All-American who helped lead program to the district title as a senior … Personal-best times were 55 seconds in the 100 free, 1:59 in the 200 free and 1:02 in the 100 fly … Also ran on the cross country team for three years and ran on the track & field team for one season … Member of the National Honor Society, Key Club and Computer Club.
Personal:
Majoring in sociology and pre-physical therapy … Enjoys running, hiking and shopping … Favorite athlete is Michael Phelps … Plans to become a physical therapist after graduation.
