Jocelin Mayorga's walk-off blast capped a two-homer game one for Widener, before York edged out a 3-2 decision in game two.
Widener Softball improves to 5-11 on the season and 1-5 in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED – GAME ONE
York struck first with two runs in the second inning and added another in the fifth to take a 3-0 lead.
Widener got on the board in the bottom of the fifth when Brenna Quinn launched a solo home run to left field, trimming the deficit to 3-1.
The Pride mounted a late rally in the seventh. After Mia Ferraro and Hailey Hernandez reached base, three straight walks forced home two runs, with Elizabeth Carney and Hayden Sissons each picking up an RBI to even the score at 3-3.
Neither team broke through in the eighth or top of the ninth, setting up Widener's final at-bat.
In the bottom of the ninth, Carney worked another walk to put the winning run aboard. Two batters later, Jocelin Mayorga crushed a two-run homer to left field, walking it off for the Pride and sealing the 5-3 extra-inning win.

HOW IT HAPPENED – GAME TWO
Widener struck early in game two, plating two runs in the bottom of the first. After Elizabeth Carney and Hailey Hernandez reached base, Hayden Sissons delivered a two-RBI single to give the Pride a 2-0 lead.
York responded in the third inning with an RBI double to cut the deficit to 2-1, then evened the score in the fifth on another run-scoring hit.
Both teams were held scoreless through the sixth inning as the game remained tied at 2-2 heading into the final frame.
In the top of the seventh, York capitalized on a Widener error and a fielder's choice to bring home the go-ahead run and take a 3-2 lead.
The Pride were unable to answer in the bottom half, as York closed out the game to hand Widener a narrow 3-2 loss.
