ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Widener Women's Lacrosse falls to Muhlenberg in a non-conference contest to end the three game win streak.
The 14-5 loss moves the Pride to 4-3 in the regular season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Pride would start off the 60 minute contest on the defensive. The Mules offense would power to five fast goals to force a Widener timeout with 5:32 left. Lynch would hold the first Pride shot on a free position. Thornton's caused turnover gave Mantz the first goal for the Pride with 0:49 left in the first to end down 6-1.
- The Mules opened the second with two goals before Gianna Scaliti held a shot. Mantz picked up her second goal off a free position for her 21st of the season at 10:40. Rothstein's caused turnover game shortly after before the Mules ended the half up 12-2 after a couple Warlow saves.
- Lynch would win the draw control at half before the Pride picked up an up opportunity. Warlow would keep the Mules out of the net while the Pride offense would see some final shots from Mantz and Lynch. The third ended with the Pride down 13-2.
- The offense would click as Grace Fescoe saw her second goal of the season off a free position with 13:38 left. Leporati won the preceeding goal to give Lynch her second goal of the game off a free position shot. Warlow would pick up a couple additional saves before the Mules answered with 2:53 left. Lynch and the Pride ended the contest with a final goal from Alex Krohn with 0:51 left. The final showed the Pride falling 14-5.
