Lamb Runs Two Personal Bests at Sunday Schyulkill Showcase at Ott Center

PHILADELPHIA – Widener Men's Track and Field send a slew to UPenn's The Ott Center on Sunday for Widener's Schuylkill Showcase as Patrick Lamb showed two personal bests.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED ON THE TRACK
 
A sprint to the finish in the 60-meter dash would be led by first year Jack Csensits with a 7.05. Erastus Ndirangu would follow 0.01 behind. Tyler Ressler shot off to a 7.32 time.
 
Ressler continued his afternoon with a 22.72 in the 200-meter dash. Elijah Celestin would join with a 23.16. Ndirangu also continued his afternoon with a 2.73 and Patrick Lamb sprinted to a 23.31.
 
A final event for Celestin would come in the 400-meter with a 51.09. Xaiver Nesbeth would clock a 51.49 while Derek Rudd (52.88) and Mikeal Palmieri (54.06) both came after.
 
David Johnson would be the sole Pride runner in the 800-meters as he clocked a 1:57.10.
 
In the mile, David Abbey led the group with a 4:32.96 and a new personal best. Michael Carolan wrapped up his race with a 4:37.72 with Ethan Ng finishing behind him with a 4:38.72. Isaiah Brewer showed a 4:54.10.
 
The distance group would see two times of 15:13.84 from Zach Rementer and a 15:54.25 from Gavin Kelly.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED IN THE FIELD
 
Brennan Pringle marked a 3.95-meter heigh in the pole vault.
 
Jacob Grossman took a 6.64-meter mark in the long jump. Matayo McGraw would jump 6.23-meters twice.
 
McGraw went on to win the triple jump with a 15.13-meter mark that just fell off his personal best.
 
Friday night at Widener showed John Kodack throwing a 15.11-meter distance in the weight throw which led David Furhman (13.39-meters) and Jackon Brink (11.31-meter).
 
UP NEXT
Widener heads to Staten Island, N.Y. on Friday, February 6 for the Fast Track National meet and Collegeville, Pa. on Saturday, February 7 for the Frank Colden Invitational.
