HOW IT HAPPENED GAME 1
  • Hood put together back-to-back doubles in the top of the 2nd  to take a 1-0 lead. The Blazers proceeded to add on two more runs in the inning with a double deep to right field. The Pride cut into the lead in the bottom half of the inning, as Myles Calderbank drove an RBI single into right field.  After a quiet third and fourth inning, the Widener offense struck again, as Ryan Bauler got things started with a single followed up by a Jack Balcer single to drive him in to make it a 3-2 game.
  • Hood answered in the top of the sixth, adding on a run after a double off the wall in left field. Sean Burke Came up huge in the bottom of the sixth, hitting a solo shot over the right field wall to cut the Hood lead down to one. Down to their last out in the bottom of the 7th, Brendan Raven hustled out a ground ball, forcing an errant throw to bring in the tying run. After the tying run crossed the plate, Chris McKenna stepped up to the plate and drove one off the blue monster to drive in Raven and walk it off for the Pride, securing their spot in the MAC Commonwealth Playoffs.
HOW IT HAPPENED GAME 2
  • The Pride started off the second game of the doubleheader with a bang, as Ryan Bauerle drew a walk before Matt Koblos obliterated a ball over the blue monster to give Widener an early 2-0 lead. Hood put up a run of their own in the top of the second with an RBI single through the right side. The Pride added on to their lead in the bottom of the fourth as Ryan Bauerle caused chaos on the bases stealing third base and then advancing to home on an error to give Widener a 3-1 lead.

Hood struck once again in the top of the seventh, putting up two more runs to increase their lead to three. Widener got one back in the bottom of the eighth inning as Myles Calderbank sent a no-doubter over the blue monster. Nick Nigro then stepped up to the plate with the winning run on second and blasted one over the left field wall to give the Pride their second walk-off win of the day.
