YORK, Pa. – The final day of racing at the Spartan Splash Invitational showed finalist dropping times from their morning swim as
Collin Ergood drops in the 200-yard butterfly.
DAY 1 – FRIDAY (145 Total Points | 3rd Place)
- The Pride opened day one of finals with a third place in the 200-yard free relay. Naveen Boggi, Zach Delgado, Bryce Garber, and Matthew Niro clocked a 1:28.89.
- Sean Lehan took fourth in the 500-yard free with a 4:58.83.
- Adam Bailey and Seth Phillips snuck into finals in the 200-yard individual medley. Bailey took fifth in the A final with a 2:04.95 and Phillips swam to a 2:06.61 in the B.
- Niro's A final in the 50-yard free showed a 22.47. The Pride would stack the B with Boggi (22.47), Garber (22.74), and Delgado (23.17).
- Day one concluded with a third in the 400-yard medley relay. Niro, Michael Machristie, Colin Ergood, and Seth Phillips clocked a 3:42.72.
DAY 2 – SATURDAY (347.5 Total Points | 2nd Place)
- Niro, Machristie, Bailey, and Delgado continued day two with a fourth place finish in the 200-yard medley relay. The quad would swim to a 1:38.65.
- Bailey's night also showed a fourth in the 400-yard individual medley where he clocked a 4:32.32. Benjamin Holub's first collegiate final would come alongside Bailey as he clocked a 4:41.92. Phillips would take second in the B final with a 4:34.23.
- The A final of the 100-yard butterfly showed a second place from Niro as he touched with a 52.52. Delgado led Ergood in the B with a 54.08. Ergood touched in a tie at a 56.17.
- Lehan took the 200-yard free with a 1:46.22 to win by two seconds.
- The A final in the 100-yard breaststroke showed a 1:01.44 from Machristie that bettered his morning swim. Marcus Moreef would take fourth in the B with a 1:06.15.
- Niro's 100-yard backstroke showed a 55.01.
- The Pride wrapped up night two with a third in the 800-yard free relay with Ergood, Lehan, Phillips, and Bailey showing a 7:31.89.
DAY 3 – SUNDAY (493.5 Total Points | 3rd Place)
- Lehan's timed final mile would show a second place finish with a 17:17.11. Holub took 11th with an 18:27.70.
- Garber took fourth in the B final of the 200-yard backstroke with a 2:10.51, that bettered his morning swim by two seconds.
- Boggi took sixth in the 100-yard free with a 49.78 to better his preliminary time.
- Machristie took second in the 200-yard breaststroke with a three second drop from the morning with a 2:14.02. Phillips won the B with a 2:19.09 to drop seven seconds from the am.
- Bailey wrapped his individual racing up with a 2:05.30 in the 200-yard butterfly. John Halloran and Ergood capped their meet in the B final with Halloran taking first with a 2:05.64. Ergood touched with a 2:08.11 as both would drop time.
- The weekend of racing concluded with a third overall in the 400-yard free relay. Niro, Delgado, Ergood, and Boggi touched with a 3:17.86.
