MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – 50 year old Widener record falls at NCAA Championships as
Matayo McGraw of Widener Men's Track and Field earns second All-American.
Sam Knowles opened his outdoor campaign in the 400-meter dash. Knowles would clock in a 48.47 and place 19
th overall. The MAC Champion would conclude his year a second off his personal best.
In the triple jump,
Matayo McGraw went on to rewrite Widener triple jump history. McGraw would mark a new personal best of 15.36-meters on his fifth attempt. His distance placed him third overall at the NCAA Championships and he would downed a 50 year old record from Mike Williams. McGraw concludes his first year with the Pride as a two time NCAA All-American in the triple jump from the indoor and outdoor season.
