READING, Pa. – The first MAC Commonwealth ends in a 14-7 win over Alvernia as
Catherine Scott registers new season high five goals.
The 14-7 win puts the Pride at 5-6 overall and 1-0 in the MAC Commonwealth.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Ava Leporati and the Pride strike first with a goal four minutes into the first on a Chloe Mingioni pass. DeHaven won a draw control to give Scott her first goal of the game and take the lead. Shots would fly from DeHaven and Alyssa Ruggiero to head into the second down 3-2.
- Coming out of the quarter break, the Pride took the momentum swing as Scott scored her second of the game to tie the score. At the 10:14 minute mark, Scott saw her hat-trick fall in a women-down goal as Alex Krohn sent a ball in. The Pride and Golden Wolves would battle for a lead but Scott continued her dominance with a 5:57 goal to tie the gave at five. Trowbridge's free position shot would give the Pride a lead after Makayla Cox scooped a ground ball. DeHaven extended the lead to go into halftime with a 7-5 lead with another Krohn assist at 1:51.
- Out of halftime, the Pride scored a quick two goals. Jessica Mantz's shot would find the back of the cage after a successful clear attempt. Scott ended her scoring day with 10:54 left in the third. The score was 9-5 in favor of the Pride. The remainder of the quarter shots from Trowbridge and DeHaven to keep the scoring to two goals in the 15 minutes.
- A slow start to the fourth was ended with back-to-back DeHaven goals as Trowbridge assisted the first. The Pride would head into a good clear attempt and then force a Golden Wolves turnover. Scott scooped the loose ball and sent a pass to Scaliti to give her the go-ahead goal with 5:22 left. Scaliti's goal would mark the first of her collegiate career. A Golden Wolves goal at 1:39 was immediately answered with a draw control win by Trowbridge and a Krohn goal 13 seconds later. Jessica Mantz picked up a ground ball off a Trowbridge turnover and turned it into the final Pride goal at 1:03. The Blue and Gold capped off the day with a 14-7 win on the road.
