HOW IT HAPPENED IN GAME ONEÂ

The game was slow for a majority of the innings, as Widener would get two hits through the first four innings and Stockton would get four. The Pride again would not score in the top of the fifth, but the Ospreys would score three runs in their at bat on three single RBIs. With both teams again not recording a hit in the sixth inning, the Pride would need to pull off the comeback in the seventh down 0-3. Sara Clymer would send an RBI single to left field to score Blake Shuler, and Caitlyn Katchur would score Jalia Lawrence, but the Pride would ultimately go down 2-3.Â
HOW IT HAPPENED IN GAME TWOÂ

The second game would start similarly to the first, as both teams would register a hit each in their first three innings. The Pride would be the first on the scoreboard, as Samantha McCarthy's RBI double would score Tong in the top of the fourth inning. Later in the at bat, Katchur would hit a 2RBI single as McCarthy and Alyssa Gomez would reach home. With Stockton again not scoring in the bottom of the fourth, the Pride would take a 3-0 lead heading into the fifth inning. Stockton would fail to score any points in response, and Widener would take a defensive 3-0 win.Â
