The Pride move to 12-16 on the season and remain 5-7 in conference play.Â

HOW IT HAPPENED IN GAME ONEÂ

Alyssa Gomez would get things started early for the Pride, hitting a home run to score her and Katelyn Tong, and Immaculata would go without a hit as Widener would take a 2-0 lead. In the second inning, Jalia Lawrence's RBI single to center field would score Samantha McCarthy, and Immaculata would go another inning scoreless as the Pride extended their lead to 3-0. Widener wouldn't record a hit in the third inning and the Might Macs would get on the board with a sacrifice ground out as the third inning would close with a 3-1 Pride lead.Â

Things would go downhill for Widener in the fourth inning, as they would not score in their at bat and the Immaculata would score four runs to take a 3-5 lead. The Pride would not record a hit in the fifth inning while a Mighty Mac double RBI and home run would add three more points and push the lead to 3-8. The Pride would respond in the top of the sixth, as Lawrence would hit an RBI single to score Taylor Bell and Balilonis would send Katchur home on a sacrifice fly out, but the team still had work to do down 5-8 heading into the seventh. Blake Shuler would score on a passed ball in the top of the seventh inning, but it would not be enough and the Pride would fall 6-8.Â

The Pride would start without a hit in their first inning, and Immaculata would hit a 2RBI double to send two runners home and take a 0-2 lead. The Pride would respond in the top of the second, as Liv Robinson would be walked to send Taylor Bell home and a Paris Balilonis RBI single would score Jalia Lawrence. The Mighty Macs would not score as the Pride would tie the game at 2 heading into the third inning. Widener would continue their scoring in the third, as Bell would reach on an error causing Samantha McCarthy to score and take a 3-2 lead. The Might Macs would fail to score in the bottom of the third.Â

The fourth inning would go without a score, but the top of the fifth would see Widener pull away with the lead. Bell's RBI single to left field would send McCarthy home and Caitlyn Katchur's RBI single would send home Samantha McHugh. Sara Clymer's sacrifice fly out would bring home Jalia Lawrence and Balilonis would reach first and score Katchur on an error. Immaculata would not record a hit at bat, and the dust would settle with Widener up 7-2. In the sixth, Bell would continue strong play with a RBI single to score Blake Shuler. Lawrence would reach on a fielder's choice that would score McCarthy, and Katchur's sacrifice fly out would send Bell home. Robinson would hit a single to left field to bring home Lawrence, and Balilonis' RBI double would bring home Robinson. The six-run inning would close with a Kate Tong would send an RBI double to left field to score Balilonis, and the Pride would lead 13-2. With the Might Macs unable to score, the Pride would take a 13-2 win in six innings in game two.Â
