The Pride improve to 9-11 on the season and 4-6 in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED IN GAME ONE

Widener would start the game off on fire as Alyssa Gomez would send a missile past the fence to score her and Liv Robinson, and Albright would not record a hit in their first at bat as the Pride would go up 2-0. The second inning saw more action as a Paris Balilonis would hit a single RBI to left field, sending Jalia Lawrence home. The Lions would still struggle to get their hitting going, as their lone single at bat would be left on base and the Pride would take a 3-0 lead into the third inning. The Pride would keep the hits coming in the third, as Lawrence's hit would be assisted by a Lions error to score Gomez. Caitlyn Katchur would send a single RBI to left field that would send Amanda Danz home as the Pride would score two runs in their at bat. Albright would respond with two runs of their own in the inning, scoring on sacrifice out and single RBIs as the Pride would still hold the lead at 5-2 at the end of the third inning.

The Pride continued to be unstoppable at bat as a Lion error would reach Danz and score both Balilonis and Kate Tong. The errors would continue for Albright, as another would reach Lawrence and score Danz. The Lions would also score in their at bat, as a wild pitch would lead to a runner getting home, and the fourth inning would close with the Pride up 8-3. The fifth inning would come and go with no hits for either team, but Widener would really seal the game in the top of the sixth. Lawrence would be walked with bases loaded to score Abby Blake, and a Katchur 2RBI double would send Sara Clymer and Samantha McCarthy home. An error would have Taylor Bell reach first and score Lawrence and a ground out would see Katchur go home. Pride fielding would step up as Lion runners on first and second were left on base and the Widener would take a 13-3 win in six innings.
HOW IT HAPPENED IN GAME TWO

Game two would start slower comparatively, as neither team would score in the first inning. The Pride would get going in the top of the second, as Lawrence's ground out would score Danz. Katchur would reach first on an Albright error, and McCarthy would score consequently. The Lions would fail to get a hit in their at bat, and neither team would score in the third inning, as the Pride would lead 2-0 after three innings.

Taylor Bell would kick things off for the Pride in the top of the fourth, sending a 2RBI double to score McCarthy and Danz, and a RBI single from Robinson would have Bell reach home as well. With the Lions still unable to register a hit, the Pride would lead 5-0. With two runners in scoring position in the top of the fifth, Lawrence's single 2RBI would send McCarthy and Tong home to extend the lead. Albright would respond with two runs of their own, and the Pride would hold a 7-2 lead heading into the sixth inning. The Pride would keep on rolling, as Tong's double RBI to left field would score Bell, and Balilonis and Tong would score after on a wild pitch. With the Lions being unable to answer with a score of their own, the Pride would take a 10-2 victory in six innings.
