HOW IT HAPPENED IN GAME ONE

The first inning saw no action as Stevenson would have the lone hit. In the top of the second, Kate Tong's RBI single would score Alyssa Gomez while Samantha McCarthy's RBI single would score Amanda Danz. The Mustangs would respond by earning a run in the bottom of the second, but the inning would end with the Pride up 2-1. The Pride would keep it rolling in the third inning, as Caitlyn Katchur's walk would score Paris Balilonis and McCarthy's single would score three Pride members. Liv Robinson's single RBI would score Katchur as Widener would score four in the inning. The Mustangs would fail to score in their at bat, ending the third inning with a score of 6-1.

The Pride would stay hot in the fourth inning, as Katchur's double would score Gomez and Balilonis while McCarthy's sacrifice fly would score Tong. The Mustangs would fail to score in the next two innings to finish the first game in five innings as the Pride would take the 9-1 win.
HOW IT HAPPENED IN GAME TWO

The Pride would start at bat and would fail to get a hit. The Mustangs, however, would score on an RBI single to close the first inning with the Pride down 0-1. In the second, Danz's single would be left on base as no other hits were recorded, and a Mustang ground-out RBI would put them up 0-2 to end the second. Alyssa Gomez's single would have Jalia Lawrence score, but the Mustangs would respond with a single RBI to score two runners. The third would come to a close with the Pride trailing 1-4.

To start the fourth inning, the Pride would go three straight outs, while the Mustangs would double their score as four runners found home; and the Pride would go down 1-8. Neither team would score in the fifth inning, and the Pride would leave two runners on base at the top of the sixth. A Mustang double would see a runner score as the sixth inning and game would end with a 1-9 Pride loss.
