HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST TCNJ
- The Lions had an early 2-0 advantage in the first inning on a Widener error and fielder's choice. They would go up as much as 5-0 before the Pride earned a run back on a Jack Balcer RBI single. Although Widener retired TCNJ's bats in a quick bottom of the third, the home team answered with a two-RBI single in the fourth. After four, TCNJ led 7-1.
- The Pride wasted no time scoring in the fifth inning, as Raven sent a three-run rocket to left center. But, the Lions scored six of their runs in the bottom of the inning. Two two-run home runs did the most damage. TCNJ added to their lead in the back innings until Widener cut into the deficit in the top of the eighth. Hoffmann, who was pinch-hitting for Nick Nigro, blasted a three-run shot. Both teams would score in their final offensive half-inning, where the Pride saw an RBI double from Ryan Madden.
