HOW IT HAPPENED
- A slower start from the Pride was ended as Kevin Schenk saw the first two points for the Pride. A Dunn steal turned into points from Rankine to put them within one point early. Dunn hit the first Pride triple at 15:48 to give them their first lead of the game. Rankine saw a fast break layup after a steal to put the Blue and Gold up three. Under halfway, another Rankine steal and fast break layup started a Pride run. The 17-6 run would close out the half in scoring as Mike Kane put in two free throws from the charity stripe along with Daulerio. Dunn would hit a fast break triple followed by an Anthony DiCaro triple. Heading into half, the Pride led 32-30.
- Schenk continued his two-game trend, scoring first in the second half. A layup from Schenk and a Steven Matlack assist started a high scoring second half. Matlack drained his first triple of the game with 17:30 on the clock. A Luke Mazur triple cut into the Lion's lead after another Rankine steal. Just outside the halfway mark, Mazur hit another triple which was followed by a Daulerio triple to put the Pride at 50 points for the game. The lead flipped as Rankine poked another ball to give him a good jumper in the paint. The Pride would tire out the Lions as the triples fell from Daulerio and DiCaro. At the five-minute mark, DiCaro hit one more to give the Pride a 10 point lead. A pair of Dunn free throws added to the points as Rankine would close out the scoring with a fast break layup.
