READING, Pa. – Women's Soccer Dominates the Albright College Lions in three to nothing victory.
The Pride move to 5-6-0 in the regular season and 1-0 in the MAC Commonwealth.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Widener took the field on Saturday evening ready to attack. The Pride dominated control of the ball throughout the first half applying constant pressure on the Albright defense, putting up eighteen shots in the first half alone. Although Widener was able to dominate the time of possession in the first half, they were unable to get past the Albright goalkeeper and would go into the half tied zero to zero.
- The Pride were finally able to break through after halftime as Alyssa Carman scored her first goal of the night at 48:58 with an assist from Charlotte Burke. It would not take long for Alyssa Carman to get back in on the action as she scored her second goal of the night at 61:59 this time with an assist from Abby Picollo. Widener continued to halt any Albright attempt at getting back in this game by playing outstanding defense holding the Lions to zero goals on the day. The Pride would ice the game at the 88:24 mark with a goal by Jenna McGovern assisted by Tatina Carr.
