Tim Wilson have announced the 2024 indoor track and field schedule. The schedule consists of eight meets before MAC Championships.
Last year, the men's team placed third of 16 teams in the MAC Championships at Alvernia University in Reading, Pa. Meanwhile, the women's team placed first of 16 teams. Both teams sent representatives to the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference Championships (AARTFCC) and 2023 NCAA DIII Indoor Track and Field Championships.
The first meet of the season will be on Friday, Jan. 12 in New York for the Lions Indoor Invite, but it will be hosted by The College of New Jersey (TCNJ). This will be one of four total meets in January. In the weekends following the TCNJ meet, the Pride will go to Staten Island, Bethlehem, Pa., and Haverford, Pa.
In February, Widener will go to their final four meets of the season before MAC Championships. They will begin on Saturday, Feb. 3 at Alvernia for the Plex Shootout. The Pride will travel to Boston, as well as Haverford and Staten Island for a second time, to wrap up the season.
MAC Championships will be between Feb. 24-25. in Annville, Pa. The All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference Championships will be from March 1-2 in Nazareth, N.Y. The NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships will be on March 8-9 in Virginia Beach, Va.
