Women’s Soccer Falls to NYU Under the Lights in Engineering Cup

HOBOKEN, N.J. – Widener women's soccer fought hard in a tough loss against the NYU Violets in the first game in the 2023 Engineering Cup hosted by Stevens
 
Following the 4-0 loss, the Pride drop to 0-1-2 on the season and will wait to face MAC Commonwealth opponent York later in September.

  • In net, Samantha Coon faced 32 Violet shots and finished with a dozen saves.
  • Defenders Morgan Hart and Brynn Foley led Pride defense with 90 minutes each played.
