CHESTER, PA – Widner Field Hockey gets their first home win of the season after taking down Drew University 3-0.
The Pride improved to 2-2 early in the season. They begin conference play October 7th against Hood College.

Alex Quartapella gets the second goal of the game with a little over a minute in the first to go, giving Widener a 2-0 lead

The Rangers score near the end of the first half, but Meredith Marsteller responds with a goal of her own to make the halftime score 3-1

With a minute left to go in the game, the Rangers score a goal to cut the lead to 3-2

Great defense in the final stretch give the Pride the win with a score of 3-2
