NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – Widener women's lacrosse senior
Kaely Cristello was selected by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) to play in the 2023 Senior All-Star Game.
The IWLCA Senior All-Star game will be held on Tierney Field at USA Lacrosse Headquarters located in Sparks, Md. The day will feature three games, one from all divisions, with the Division III game beginning at 12:15 p.m. Admission will be free of charge and the games will not be streamed.
Cristello ended her career at Widener in a record fashion this year as she became the all-time leader in caused turnovers and was named to the MAC Commonwealth All-Mac and IWLCA All-Region Teams. This season Cristello led the defense to a 11-8 overall record and a trip to the MAC Commonwealth Semifinal game under first time head coach
Sophie Bass. On defense Cristello accumulated 36 caused turnovers and 38 ground balls. The Broomall, Pa. native will be one of the 43 Division III student-athletes selected and will play on the South Team under Haverford College's Women's Lacrosse Head Coach Katie Wertman.
