Game 1
Anthony Boccio,
Andrew Yates, and
Nick Barenz had two runs each.
Justin Costanzo collected four RBIs.
Aidan O'Brien started on the mound, where he allowed seven hits and struck out four batters.
The Pride attacked early in the first game, as a Costanzo sac-fly brought Boccio in to score. Widener would put their second run on the board in the top of the second inning.
Stephen Posner's RBI single made the score 2-0. While Widener's defense would allow no runs in the first two innings, the Eagles broke through in the third. Following a quick top of the third for Eastern's defense, their offense produced three runs in the bottom of the third. They would hit two home runs in the span of four batters, including a two-run shot. Eastern led 3-2 after three.
The fourth inning was an offensive showcase for the Pride, as they brought in nine runs.
Bryce Fremgen smacked a two-run home run. Posner, who was the next batter, then hit his own home run. An RBI single and an RBI double by Boccio and
Kyle Brex, respectively, made the score 7- 3. For the biggest play of the inning, Costanzo hit a three-run home run to blow open the deficit. A Posner RBI groundout completed the scoring. The Pride would play good defense in the bottom of the fourth and the fifth. In the latter, the Eagles left two men on base when Widener recorded back-to-back outs to retire the inning. Widener added four insurance runs across the top of the sixth and seventh, with two runs in each. Yates joined in on the fun and hit a two-run shot to right-center field. The Pride loaded the bases twice in the final inning, resulting in two scores. The lead was now 15-3. Although the Eagles scored a run in the bottom of the seventh, it was nowhere near enough to mount a comeback. Widener won the game 15-4.
Game 2
Costanzo and Yates earned two runs each. Costanzo and Fremgen had three hits each. Widener's pitchers only gave up three hits and struck out 10 batters.
While the Pride made good plays on offense to start the game, no one was able to score. Their defense stood strong as the first inning wrapped up. Eastern took an early 2-0 advantage in the second inning. An RBI single and a Widener error gave the Eagles their runs. Despite the lead by the home team, the Pride bounced back in the third.

In the fifth, RBI doubles by Fremgen and Posner and yet another error by the Eagles pushed the lead to 13-4. While the Eagles would have two men on base in the bottom of the seventh, the final two outs for Widener's defense were strikeouts. The Pride won 13-4.
