HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST EASTERN
The first period was dominated by Pride's offense as Jamie DeHaven got things moving right away with a goal scored in forty-five seconds of the game. Capitalizing off of turnovers, Alex Krohn, Annalee Doyle, and Chloe Mingioni, all went on to score in the first period as well. Mingioni saw back-to-back goals to wrap up the first period and put the Pride ahead 8-0.

Clark Trowbridge got herself a goal to start the second period, but Eastern was quick to answer with a goal of their own. With 9:06 on the clock, Jordyn Edwards scored off a free-position shot and put the score at 10-1. Trowbridge and Edwards went on to score again and Ava Leporatoi snuck one last goal in with forty-nine seconds remaining in the half. The two teams head into halftime with the score sitting at 13-1.

The second half was opened up by a Lucy Breithaupt goal followed by an Alminde goal less than a minute later. With 4:05 remaining in the third, Sarah Davidson found the back of the net and then Brooke Fulling went on to score for Widener as well. Pride finished the third period ahead by sixteen.
