Yates' first at bat found a single from a bunt attempt. With an out on the board, Yates stole second to move him closer to home. A Justin Costanzo walk pushed Yates to third and Brex to second. Following a pitching change, O'Brien added another strike out with a looking strike three. In the bottom of the seventh, the Pride suffered a quick 1-2-3 inning. After a Golden Wolves 1-2-3, Bauerle pinch hit for Robinson which turned into his first homer of his collegiate career from a deep hit to left center field. Yates saw the bag after four balls and Barenz got on base from a single to right field. The Pride came up empty on the offensive side in the ninth and ended the game with a 7-4 final.
