After a long Lions run, Kutz broke the first quarter drought with a layup from Mary McFillin to cut the score down to 10-6. For the rest of the quarter, both sides went on a slump with some missed shots and turnovers. Right before the end of the first, Kutz found a successful free throw off a Julia Zakovitch foul. After 10 minutes of play, the Pride trailed 17-7.

Once again, Kutz opened the scoring for the Blue and Gold with another jumper from a Cassiello dish. The score was cut down to 11. With 6:53 left in the second, Robbins grabbed her first layup of the game from a McFillin pass. Following the successful layup, the Pride trailed 26-13. Gianna Samuels snagged the Pride's first three pointer late in the second to make the score 37-20. A pair of Kutz free throws and a Lia Samuels three send the Pride into halftime down 12.

Right out of halftime, Kutz continued her initial scoring for the Pride with a repeat of the start of the game. McFillin drew a foul to send her to the line where she sunk two shots. The Lions offense struggled for a little with a Edmond Orianna miss, a Zakovith turnover, and a Gabby Boggs foul. In that time, D'Ambrosio added another two to her name to make the score 44-31 Lions. With just over two minutes remaining in the third, Robbins cut the lead to nine after a good layup and Avalynn Baer finished the half with a layup from a Cassiello ball. The team went into the fourth down 54-43.

Kutz made it a perfect 4-of-4 in first team points for the ladies with a layup sent from Cassiello.
