BY THE NUMBERS

- Mia Robbins collected her fifth double-double of the season with 14 points and 12 rebounds.

HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST SARAH LAWRENCE
- Despite a couple of early Pride turnovers, Lindsay Kutz scored Widener's first bucket on a fast break thanks to a Jordan D'Ambrosio steal. The Gryphons would take a 13-5 lead midway through the initial 10 minutes, but a 13-0 run by Widener put them up by five. Mary McFillin and Samuels each hit a triple in that stretch. Samuels would add another three-pointer with under a minute left, and the Pride led 23-17 after one quarter.
- Widener scored their initial points of the second quarter on three free throws. It would be the start of an 11-1 outburst from the Pride. Even with the occasional Sarah Lawrence bucket, the Pride outscored the Gryphons 28-9 in the quarter. Widener would lead by as much as 26 points to finish off the first half. The halftime score was 51-26 Widener.
- Right out of the locker room, McFillin was scorching from the three-point line. She hit three of her four triples in the third quarter within four minutes. Sarah Lawrence had no answers for the Pride in the paint or on the perimeter. With a three by Samuels with 3:58 left in the quarter, Widener had reached a 40-point advantage. The Gryphons went on an 8-0 run late in the quarter, but Widener answered with three consecutive threes from Lia Samuels in about two-and-a-half minutes. The score was 82-42 Widener after 30 minutes.
- The final quarter was the only one where Widener was outscored (13-12). Both sides began the quarter with missed shots before a Sarah Lawrence fast break layup initiated the scoring. Lia Samuels would hit her fourth and final triple with 6:28 left to increase the lead to 39. The Gryphons never made a serious threat to Widener's commanding lead, but they would hit the last shot of the game on a layup attempt. The Pride took the 94-55 win.
