Women's Volleyball Finishes Their Season With a Win Against Albright

The Pride Miss Playoffs Despite 16-10 Record

READING, Pa. - Women's Volleyball ends their season on a high note as they sweep the Albright Lions on the road. 
 

The Pride finish their season with a 16-10 record. They were 3-4 against conference opponents. 

BY THE NUMBERS 

HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST ALBRIGHT 

  • The Pride jump out 6-0 in the first set and never look back, getting a 25-16 win 

  • Widener goes on a 17-4 run in the second set and a Megan Barthol to Shannon Toomey kills gives the Pride a 25-11 win 

  • The Pride again start strong with a 5-0 run followed by a 8-3 run in the third set, and a Rachel DiCarlo ace seals the sweep with a 25-17 third set victory
