CHESTER, Pa. - Despite a great defensive effort, Widener Field Hockey drops under .500 in conference play as they take a loss to Messiah University 2-0 at home.
The Pride drop to 5-8 on the season and fall to 1-2 in conference play. Their next conference match will take place at home October 18th against Stevenson.

Quarter one only saw one shot as the defensive battle lead to a 0-0 end of the first.
