EXTRA EXTRA Read All About It!! Dominic Dunn of men's basketball recorded his 1000
th career point in a 94-81 victory against the Hood College Blazers on the road Saturday afternoon.
Following the victory, the Pride move to 8-4 in the regular season and 3-2 in MAC Commonwealth play.

- Graduate student Dominic Dunn earns a season high 33 points with ten three-point shots made.
- Dunn became the third player in Widener history to score ten three pointers in a single game. He is now tied with Casey Stitzel and Tyler Drews.
- Dunn also led the team with eight assists.

HOW IT HAPPENED AT VOLPE ATHLETIC CENTER
A minute into the game, senior Stephen Matlack drained a three pointer to open the Pride's 35 total three-point attempts. Two minutes later with 17:04 remaining in the first half, Dunn finds his first three of the game to push the Pride back on top 6-5. After a
Myles Bright steal, Matlack drained his second three to push the score to 14-10. Jevon Yarbrough of the Blazers quickly answered with a three of his own to bring the margin back to one. With 7:40 remaining on the clock, Dunn registered his second three to make the score 30-25. The Pride and Blazers battled back and forth for the majority of the first half, but 4:51 in the half Holden opened the scoring streak with a three. With under two minutes remaining, Dunn added six more to his 33-point game total to push the scoring margin back to give going into halftime. At the half, the Pride shot 18 of 35 (51.43%) from the floor, 12 of 21 (57.14%) from beyond the arc, and went 3 of 4 (75%) from the line to lead 51-46.
Coming out of halftime, Jack Fricka of Hood opened the scoring gates with a layup to cut the score to three. The Pride quickly answered with a Schenk steal and dunk with 17:49 remaining in the game. Schenk's dunk blew the Blue and Gold's scoring wide open as the
Kenny Lewis adds four. With 14:34, Dunn widens the gap to the largest of the night with seven to make the score 60-53. The Pride then go on an 11-0 run to take a commanding 71-55 lead with 11:18 remaining on the scoreboard. As time ticked under five minutes, Dunn hit another three to register his 1000
th career point with 2:50 remaining in the game. Schenk closed the Pride's 91-point game with a pair of free throws with 0:43 left. The second half was another high scoring half with 43. The team shot 14 of 31 (45.16%) in field goals, 7 of 14 (50%) from the arc, and 8 of 9 (88.89%) from the line. On the afternoon, the Blue and Gold saw 26 points in the paint, 17 points off loose Blazers turnovers, and 13 second chance baskets.
