HOW IT HAPPENED
After peppering the Mighty Macs with three shots in the first 10 minutes, Fatiga delivered on the fourth with a goal in the 12th minute. Turano regained possession from Immaculata at midfield and fired a pass up the sideline to a sprinting Fatiga who outran two defenders and launched the ball over the Mighty Macs' goalkeeper. Three minutes later, in a near identical play, Turano lofted another dime up the middle to Fatiga who beat two Immaculata players and placed a shot in the top left corner to make the tally 2-0.
Hurrell added some insurance to the Blue and Gold's lead in the second half when he got open on the near sideline and beat the keeper one-on-one a for the match's third score. Immaculata would get off one only shot in the final 20 minutes as WU rolled to win number one of the 2021 season.
