HOW IT HAPPENED
Chad Allison found rope first for the Pride with a score eight minutes into the game. Another goal by Heisman at the 4:09 mark gave Widener its first lead of the night, but the Mustangs got one past the Pride in the quarter's final moments to even the score back up at two a piece. The Blue and Gold opened the second with a pair of goals a minute apart from Heisman and Ball to take a 4-2 advantage. However, the Mustangs made quick haste of that deficit and put four straight past the Pride to take a 6-4 lead into halftime.

Stevenson added to that lead in the third quarter, just edging the Pride 3-2 in goals. The fourth was much of the same as the Mustangs pulled away with another five scores to cement the final tally.
