CHESTER, Pa. – 10 different players scored for the Widener University women's lacrosse team as the Pride downed the DelVal Aggies 22-4 on Friday afternoon.
 
BY THE NUMBERS

• Emma DiGilio had a career day and led all scorers with five goals and four assists for nine points. She also scooped two ground balls.
• Chelsea Forsyth posted three goals and two assists. Gab Cohen and Amber Bretz each had two tallies and two helpers.
• Caroline Kelley and Katie Ward both recorded a hat trick with three goals.
• Cat Scott, Amelia Alminde, Olivia McDOnald, and Lucy Breithaupt all found the back of the net once.
• Kaely Cristello led the way with four ground balls and had two draw controls.
• Katelyn Rosini picked up her first career win in goal =, playing 42 minutes

 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Widener got the early jump, going up 3-0 on goals by Bretz, DiGilio, and Forsyth in the first four minutes of the contest.
• After DelVal pulled to 4-2 at the 22:54 mark, Widener did not concede a goal the remainder of the half and scored 14 of its own in the next 17 minutes to take a 18-4 halftime advantage.
• The second frame was a quieter 30 minutes, but still saw some highlights including Breithaupt's first career goal.
