CHESTER, Pa. – Chelsea Forsyth and Alexis Colella each scored their first goals of the season, but the Widener University women's lacrosse team fell 17-2 to the Messiah Falcons on Saturday afternoon.
 
In a tough battle, the Pride found itself down 13-0 before Forsyth tallied her goal towards the end o the first half. The second half was a much tighter contest, seeing the Blue and Gold hang tough with Messiah.
 
Widener returns to action on Wednesday when it travels to York (Pa.) top open conference play. Opening draw is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
