CHESTER, Pa. – The Widener women's swimming team won all 11 events as it raced past Immaculata, 160-40, to a 152-2on Friday night at Schwartz Athletic Center.
With the win, the Pride improved their record to 6-2 on the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED AGAINST IMMACULATA
- Angelina Franceschini, Azaria Luckey, and Azaria Luckey, and Lauren Kalsbeek each had a hand in winning three events. Franceschini took first in the 100-yard butterfly (1:06.18) and 1,000 freestyle (11:45.75) while also helping the 400 free relay team win (3:57.79). Luckey won the 50 free (26.03) and the 100 free (58.64) while assisting the 400 free relay team to a win. Kalsbeek touched the wall first in the 200 individual medley in 2:21.60 while also assisting the 400 medley relay team to a win in 4:23.44 and being a part of the 400 free relay's victory.
- Kyra Schwerzler and Claire Rankin each had a hand in winning two events. Schwerzler won the 200 free (2:05.63) and the 500 free (5:44.68). Rankin came away victorious in the 100 backstroke (1:02.21) and the mixed 200 backstroke (2:08.24).
- Caitlin Blaum rounded out the Pride's winners by taking the 100 breaststroke in 1:18.52.
- The Pride had 20 times qualify for the MAC Championships.

The Pride will travel to Madison, N.J. on Dec. 3 and 4 to compete in the Ranger Invitational. Meet time is set for 10 a.m. on Dec. 3 and 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 4.
