CHESTER, Pa. – The Widener University women's swimming team won 11 of 15 events as the Pride downed Cabrini 173-88 on Saturday afternoon.

Picking up the first individual event win for the Blue and Gold was
Angelina Franceschini who took the 1000 free in 11:20.47. She also ranked first in the 200 back, clocking in at 2:21.93.

Jill Bujanowski won the 200 free with a time of 2:04.26. She also won the 50 free in 25.43.

Emma Reistle claimed the 100 back with her 1:04.59 clocking. Later, she won the 100 free in a time of 59.55.

Caroline Stang took the top spots in the 100 and 200 fly, touching the wall in 1:04.13 and 2:25.32 respectively.

Widener also won both relays.
Sammy Grogan teamed up with Reistle, Franceschini, and Bujanowski in taking the 200 free relay with a time of 1:47.48. In the 200 medley relay, the quartet of Reistle,
Ana Konyak, Stang, and Bujanowski clocked in at 1:59.42.

The Pride returns to action next Saturday, January 18 for Senior Day against Arcadia. The meet is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
