READING, Pa. – Claire Kaufmann led the Widener University women's volleyball team with 14 kills as the Pride picked up a 3-1 MAC Commonwealth victory against the Albright Lions on Wednesday night.
 
MATCH NOTES (25-18, 24-26, 25-20, 25-18)

• Kaufmann now has 10 or more kills in seven of her last 10 matches.
• Carly Venit also reached double figures with 10 kills and hit .429. She added four blocks.
• Hollie Jones had nine kills, hitting .368.
• Widener's defense stood strong, posting 93 digs as a team. Ashey McAfee led the way with 31. Shelby Motz recorded 19 and Kayla Ewart had 15.
• The Pride added 12 blocks in the match. In addition to Venit's total. Jones and Motz each had three.
• Sydney Nichols had 25 assists for WU. Emma Wilcock and Liz Kwon both had 11.
