How it Happened
After a scoreless first 15 minutes, WU broke through, holding on to a one goal advantage until five minutes before the intermission. The Pride added some insurance just before the break, taking a 2-0 lead into the second half.
The Blue and Gold wasted little time, tallying goal number three just one minute and 30 seconds after the opening tap of the second half. In the 52nd minute, the Pride moved the ball beautifully down the field, connecting for the fourth goal of the night. Goals five and six came off the feet of two freshmen and solidified the final score.
