- The Pride opened the scoring in the first as with two out, D'Alessandro and DeBellis each singled in front of Wood who cracked a two-run double.
- Adding to the lead in the third, DeBellis and Wood singled. An error by the second baseman on a ball hit by Greg Elfreth allowed DeBellis to cross the plate.
- In the fourth, Bryce Fremgen singled with one out followed by a hit by Taylor and a walk to Samson, loading the bases. Two batters later, D'Alessandro came through with a clutch single, plating two runs, making it 5-0.
- The Falcons got a run in the sixth to inch closer, but Widener extended the advantage in the seventh. Wood and Elfreth both walked, bringing up Brandon Reis who doubled, scoring Wood. A wild pitch brought home Elfreth for a 7-1 WU lead.
