Kelly Lynch set three school records including the Widener all-time scoring mark as Widener University women's lacrosse history on Saturday as the Pride fell to the Stevenson Mustangs 20-12 in a MAC Commonwealth matchup.
LYNCH HISTORY
- The senior totaled nine points on the day on four goals and five assists, giving her 281 for her career, breaking the record of 276 set by Tiffany Crowe who played at Widener from 1990-93.
- Her second point of the game, an assist in the first half, gave her 100 points for the season, making her the first player in program history with two such seasons.
- Lynch ended the game with 107 points thus far in 2019, breaking the record of 104, previously set by Crowe in 1993.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- With the early score tied at one following a goal by Lynch, Stevenson took a 3-1 lead eight minutes into the first half.
- The Pride battled back, netting three of the next four markers as DiGilio, Bert, and Kelley all found the back of the cage, knotting things at 4-4 midway through the first half.
- SU wrested control away, using a 6-0 run to build a 10-4 lead before Bert scored with three minutes left before halftime.
- Opening the second stanza, Widener battled back, going on a 4-2 run to chop the edge to 13-9 less than nine minutes in.
- Stevenson methodically pushed the lead back out and held Widener at a distance for the remainder of the game.
