DOVER, Del. – The Widener University softball team split a double-header against Wesley College on Tuesday afternoon, dropping game one 7-1 then returning the favor in game two, defeating the Wolverines 8-4 in six innings.
How it happened in game one
	- Wesley put up two in the first then two more in the fourth
 
	- A run in the fifth gave the Wolverines a five-run advantage
 
	- Ariel Silva got one back for the Pride, homering to lead off the top of the fifth – her first with Widener
 
	- Two more in the bottom half of the fifth sealed the deal for Wesley
 
How it happened in game two
	- Jamie Gosselin led the game off with a triple
 
	- Ally McDowell knocked Gosselin in with a double
 
	- McDowell later scored on an error, putting the Pride up two going into the bottom of the first
 
	- Gosselin scored the third run of the game in the second, crossing the plate thanks a single from Carli Benozich
 
	- Silva hit her second homerun of the day, making it 4-0 in favor of the Pride
 
	- Four Widener runs in the fourth was more than enough to push the Pride past the Wolverines
 
	- Sydney Powell struck out four on her way to her third win
 
	- The game was called in the sixth inning due to light
 
Highlights
	- Silva ended the day 3-7 with two homeruns and two RBI
 
	- McDowell had two hits, scored two runs, and recorded one RBI
 
	- Gosselin's three hits raised her average to .429
 
	- Marissa Camac got her seventh RBI on the year
