CHESTER, Pa. –
Caroline Kelley scored a career-high six goals, but a late comeback from the Widener University women's lacrosse team came up a few tallies short as the Pride fell to the Moravian Greyhounds 21-16 on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Widener jumped out to an early 3-0 lead as a goal by Steffney and two by Bert all happened in the opening 3:29 of the contest.
- From there, Moravian found its footing, using a 12-3 run to take a 12-6 lead before McDonald found the back of the net with one second remaining in the first half.
- Within the first 10 minutes of the second frame, the Greyhounds pushed the lead to 18-9 before the Pride made its move. Widener scored seven of the next nine goals, five of them by Kelley, pulling to 20-16.
- Moravian was able to hold on down the stretch and added an insurance goal with 97 seconds remaining to seal the final.
