Alvernia scored the first basket, but back-to-back three-pointers from Rimmer and D'Ambrosio gave the Pride a lead it would not relinquish as the advantage was trimmed to one on pair of occasions, but the Blue and Gold held on for the win.

WU got off to a hot start, scoring 14 of the first 17 points of the contest, six of them each by Phelan and RImmer, in the first five minutes of the contest as Widener shot 6-for-9 from the field.
