Kenny Lewis posted his second double-double of the season as the Widener University men's basketball team remained undefeated with an 81-71 victory at Farmingdale State in a non-conference contest on Saturday afternoon.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Lewis had season-highs with 21 points and 12 rebounds, shooting 10-of-13 from the floor.
- Jared Peters netted 16 points, hitting all six of his free throws.
- Pat Holden tallied 14, connecting on 5-of-7 shots from the field. Connor Laverty chipped in 12.
- Widener has 12 steals in the game, including three each from Holden and Peters.
- Defensively, the Pride allowed the Rams to shoot just 7-for-26 (26.9 percent) from three-point range.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Tied 15-15 eight minutes into the game, a trey by Laverty sparked an 8-2 run during the next three minutes, giving Widener a 23-17 lead. The Pride maintained a 4-5 point edge for the next several minutes before a three by Peters and a layup from Holden extended the advantage to 38-29 with two minutes left, eventually going into halftime up 42-35.

In the first seven minutes of the second stanza, the Blue and Gold started to put the game away, scoring 17 of the first 24 points to go up 59-42 at the 12:51 mark. Farmingdale State chipped away, getting the lead to 75-69 with 37 seconds left, but Widener hit all eight of its free throws in the 61 seconds of the contest to ice things.
