CHESTER, Pa. - The Widener University women's soccer team faced off against Haverford College on Wednesday night, dropping the match 3-0
The Pride fought hard against the Fords, keeping the game deadlocked for the first 40 minutes. After a nearly two hour lightening delay with 12:11 remaining in the first half, the match started back up at 10:00 p.m. Haverford scored a little over two minutes after the match resumed. The Widener attack created some scoring chances in the second half, but were unable to beat the Ford keeper.
