CHESTER, Pa. - The Widener University women's soccer team faced off against Haverford College on Wednesday night, dropping the match 3-0

The Pride fought hard against the Fords, keeping the game deadlocked for the first 40 minutes. After a nearly two hour lightening delay with 12:11 remaining in the first half, the match started back up at 10:00 p.m. Haverford scored a little over two minutes after the match resumed. The Widener attack created some scoring chances in the second half, but were unable to beat the Ford keeper. Shea Scannell, Brielle Errico, and Isabella Hill each contributed a shot. 

Up next, the Pride opens up conference action on Saturday, September 29, traveling to Lebanon Valley. Opening tap is slated for 4:00 p.m.
